Description

Rare 1964 South African first MONO press 14-track LP of The Beatles’For Sale Night(PMCJ 1240) pressed on the plum old-school Parlophone label.

The gatefold sleeve is in VG+ condition and is one of the better sleeves you’ll get for this LP, as most are often found in far less desirable shape. Legible, sharp spine ; solid build on the cover etc. with beautiful inner gatefold LP jacket. Only main defect is the left half of the inside gatefold which contains mild, tiny discoloration spots above the band photo, and small blue pen name top left corner. This is a very very good cover which, besides this only defect, can continue to be appreciated. Overall rating for the cover = VG+.

The vinyl is also in VG+ condition which comes as a pleasant surprise. There’s a vivid lustre on the LP with extremely few, light hair-lines under strong lightwhich prevents a sure EX grade. Thecentre labels are vivid in colour, immaculate with no defect. Overall, the vinyl is VG+.

A great addition for 60’s vinyl music and especially Beatles’ collectors worldwide and a seldom find in very respectable condition indeed.
