                                BEATLES’ 65, CAPITOL T-2228 FIRST ISSUE STILL SEALED.

Released December 15, 1964. Fifth Beatles album on Capitol Records! First variation cover (CAP 2228.MC1, Bruce Spizer: “The Beatles’ Story On Capitol Records. Part 2, The Albums”). No factory number on back cover. Record was made by Scranton PA. If carefully viewed, the inner sleeve color of “rust” can be seen, which indicates that this LP was manufactured near the end 1964. The shrink wrap on the cover does have the characteristic “breath holes” commonly found on most original still sealed records from that time period. On the shrink wrap itself is a yellow store code sticker, located in the front-top-left corner of the cover, featuring the words in black inc: Record Runner, 177 Marshall Street, Syracuse, N.Y. 408 College Avenue, Ithica, N.Y. B.

Accompanied by letter of authenticity from Gary M. Hein.
