The Beatles Abbey Road UK 1969 Apple Odeon Export Edition
Very rare copy of Abbey Road UK Export Edition with a gold foil "Odeon" gold foil sticker on the back of the sleeve and Side 1 label, which covers the Apple trademark, which wasn't registered in the countries where this issue was exported to. The sticker reads "ODEON Regd. Trade Mark of E.M.I. Records Limited" and covers the misaligned Apple Records logo at the bottom right corner of the "Garrod & Lofthouse Int., Ltd" cover. The back cover doesn't have the "Her Majesty" track, just like the Side 2 label. The Near Mint cover with the catalog number PCS 7088 remains in the original shrink wrap that doesn't have any tears or missing pieces. The album comes with the original "Made in England", "Patent No. 1,125,555" white inner sleeve. The shiny vinyl with the 1st matrix numbers has just a few very light surface hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve and is graded as Excellent Minus. 1st matrix numbers with the mother stampers : YEX 749-2 GLA 8 / YEX 750-1 GLD 4.
