Description
The Beatles - 'Ticket To Ride / Yes It Is'. R 5265
The Beatles 1965 UK 1st pressing of the 'Ticket To Ride / Yes It Is' 7" single. Released on the 9th April 1965, this is complete with Parlophone sleeve and rare 'News Flash!' promo insert. I understand these insert sheets were only normally included with demo/promo issues of this single.
Released on the Parlophone label both sides feature the 'Sold in the UK....' text and have 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd' rim print. The 'KT' tax code is embossed on the side two label. The promo insert describes the release date and a few facts about the two tracks featured. Very few of these must have been produced so quite a rarity.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. 7XCE 18254-3 5 HO KT
Side 2. 7XCE 18255-2 3 OD KT
The vinyl is in condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT- condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition.
