Description

The Beatles - 'Twist And Shout' E.P. GEP 8882

The Beatles 1963 UK 1st pressing of the 'Twist and Shout' E.P. Released on the 12th July 1963, on offer here is the very earliest variation with SPELLING ERROR.

The b-side label features the incorrect spelling error of 'Do You Want To Know a Secret' wrongly listed as ‘DO YOU WANT A KNOW A SECRET’ (the cover features the correct spelling).

Released on the Parlophone label both sides feature the 'Recording first published 1963' text and have ‘The Parlophone Co. Ltd....' rim print. This very early issue has the ‘MKT’ tax code is embossed on the b-side label. The vinyl is housed within the original 1963 picture sleeve.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 7TCE 762-2N 2 RAO KT

Side 2. 7TCE 763-1N 8 AGD KT

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition. Small sticker on the a-side label.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
