Hi! You're looking at an excellent condition vinyl 2 LP Set which is a FIRST PRESSING 1972 issue of a classic by THE BAND titled "Rock of Ages"--the set features the late ROBBIE ROBERTSON on guitar, RICHARD MANUEL on vocals, piano, keyboards and drums, LEVON HELM on vocals, drums, mandolin, and guitar, RICK DANKO on vocals, bass and violin, and GARTH HUDSON on organ, clavinette, piano, accordion, and saxophone--this LP includes outstanding live versions of many of The Band's most beloved songs, including "The Weight," "Across the Great Divide," "Stage Fright," "Rag Mama Rag," "Chest Fever," "The Night they Drove Old Dixie Down," "Up on Cripple Creek," "W. S. Walcott Medicine Show," ""The Unfaithful Servant" and "King Harvest (Has Surely Come)," composed by ROBBIE ROBERTSON, "This Wheel's On Fire" composed by RICK DANKO and BOB DYLAN, "Life is a Carnival" composed by LEVON HELM, RICK DANKO and ROBBIE ROBERTSON, and others. The 2 LP Set is a Capitol Records issue with the serial number SABB 11045 and is a 1st PRESSING made at the Los Angeles pressing plant and was made in the United States in 1972.
This LP is in excellent condition and the vinyl is in NEAR MINT- (Ex) condition and should play beautifully, with a couple of moderate scuffs and some light paper scuffs that should not significantly affect play and NO other significant imperfections; the cover is in VG+ overall condition with a full split on the upper edge of the back surface, a center split on the lower edge, some light ringwear on the back surfaces, light scuffs on the surfaces, a very small abrasion on the center of the spine end, light dings on the tips and just light shelfwear otherwise but no other significant flaws--it's NOT a cutout! The original plain white inner sleeve is also included.

Vinyl Grading Standards (unless otherwise indicated, LPs are visually graded)
Mint (or M) – Sealed and effectively perfect with no signs of wear or ever having been played.
Near Mint -- A record with only the slightest evidence of ever having been handled.
Very Good Plus Plus (VG++) A very clean record that has no marks aside from slight scuffs and abrasions caused by removal from a paper inner sleeve or perhaps a few marks on the label caused by a turntable spindle.
Very Good Plus (VG+) A record that has had a number of plays and may have some superficial scuffs, possibly mild to moderate spindle marks and / or possibly hairline scratches on the vinyl, which may produce some intermittent pops and possibly very light background noise.
Very Good (VG) A record that has generally been well cared for, but has seen a fair amount of play, with some scuffing. hairline scratches, spindle marks and / or light scratches. Should play through well, with the possibility of more pops and more background noise.
Very Good Minus (VG-) A record with significant scuffs, scratches, and spindle marks that should play through with moderate pops and surface noise, possibly of some duration.
Good (G) A record with will play through, but with significant pops, substantial background noise, and possibly intermittent skipping.
Poor (P) A record with MAJOR issues that will interfere with play, and will possibly be unplayable in part due to damage (I'll only offer an LP in this condition if it's an extreme rarity and / or for cover art display purposes).
