The best of British R 'n B alongside The Yardbirds, Downliners Sect, Animals, Graham Bond, and Mayall's Bluesbreakers, The ARTWOODS fared surprisingly poorly saleswise - especially when listening to this excellent album of top quality sounds. Art was backed by a really tremendous group, and this LP is loaded only with terrific tunes delivered brilliantly!Perhaps media attention was all over Clapton, The Rolling Stones, and chart regulars. I believe that a hit single would probably have really put them at the top - but it doesn't matter to the recordings here. There's not a bad track.
The disc is in really nice condition. A heavy vinyl 'deep groove' disc as Decca are known for! ===============================
Condition; The VINYL is EX, a couple of small marks visible (very close to NM).
LABLES are VG++ showing modest wear and plays. ..... The LAMINATED COVER grades VG+ as photographed above. bright with some obvious wear. There's a small opening edge split for a half inch, the rear is yellowed and some writing has been covered with white-out.
