Description
This is the ORIGINAL 1968 CALENDAR RECORDS U.S. PROMO PRESS KIT AND FIRST LP titled 'The Archies' from Ron Dante's studio group The Archies, who provided the music included in the 1968 Archies cartoon TV series. 'The Archies' LP is Calendar Records catalog number is KES-101, its cover is still surrounded by its original factory shrinkwrap which is torn across the bottom of the front cover. Press kit and LP come packaged in their original outer thin cardboard case with upward folding cover. The press kit includes all items shown in my accompanying image. I am not sure if all of the items originally included with this press kit are still included here.

Condition of 'The Archies' record is VG with a few light surface marks which cannot be felt and will not affect play and one small surface scratch on the track 'Bang-Shang-A-Lang' which can be felt and which will cause some ticks for a few revolutions. Condition of everything else in this package ranges from VG+ with some signs of use and minor wear to a SOLID NM with no visible flaws. Please message me with any specific questions about condition of individual components or anything else.
This rare promo package with press kit was not available commercially and there are not many that exist - It would be a choice addition to any Archies, Ron Dante, or 1960s bubblegum rock record collection!
