Description
The Animals Animalisms LK4797. Matrix Endings: -1A/1A.
Record/Sleeve:
This is a great example of a classic album! The vinyl is so much better than the sleeve weirdly. It has a wonderful sheen and looks flawless. Under strong light you can make out the odd light hairlines but overall it's a stunning surface - it would look superb with a proper clean. Side 1 has barely any spindle marks and but weirdly side 2 does and because of the odd hairline, I will grade conservatively at EX but it's very strong!! It plays beautifully with just light background crackle in between tracks. Again, because it hasn't had a proper clean I think it could sound brill.
The sleeve sadly hasn't faired as well. It's actually not a bad sleeve and the pics make it look grungier than it is. The corners/spine etc are pretty strong - sadly there are a couple of tears that's were taped up (see pics). They've been glued back so it's fine but you can see where they tore. Still for a flimsily sleeve it's decent but because of the defects I'll grade as VG.
