This record is in good+ condition. It has faint spindle marks visible on the labels but these are not obviously visible. Other than the spindle marks the labels have no issues with no scuffs, pen marks, staining or other problems. Overall they look great and are clean, bright and have all text legible.
As for the vinyl itself both sides are clearly used and it is a record graded at G+ visually. There are marks, scuffs and light scratches on both sides. It still has a decent lustre and there is not loads of marks that can be felt but there is one 1cm mark in track 5 on side 1. There is also other marks showing and general signs of age and handling. So overall a vinyl that is not perfect visually and has marks and lines to it but also still has a nice lustre and has nothing really major.
I play tested the record and it produced audio that can still be enjoyed but that is certainly not perfect or pristine listening.
Firstly the record seems to lay flat on the deck and upon playing side 1 there was only a very slight amount of upward movement in the record arm. On playing side 2 however this was slightly more pronounced. It was not extreme or a major raise but the arm raises to some degree on both sides, but more so on side 2.
The audio produced is free of skips or sticks and side plays with no major or serious levels of interference. There was the odd noise and splutter in places but generally side 2 played with audio closer to a grade of VG+ and was a nice enough and tidy listen.
Side 1 plays at around a VG- grade. There is splutters and light surface noise in the run in and intro and minor levels of surface noise throughout the side. There is also light tics in the last track caused by the 1cm mark mentioned above. These can be heard but are not really loud but do last for around 1 minute or so in the first half of track 5. These were the most prolonged period of any interference but as you can expect from a record graded at G+ there was other noises in places.
Overall a used and somewhat tired record but one that despite its marks and lines still produces audio that can be enjoyed overall. It is not perfect however and does have some noise in places, which I have done my best to outline.
The record will be sent in a brand new plain white replacement inner as the original was missing.
