Description
The original 1966 release, edited from several hours of lysergic recordings made at Sound City Productions around the time of the Trips Festival. Mandatory. The original is hard to find today. This ultra rare 1966 album recorded during an actual LSD Trip by the legendary Ken Kesey & Ken Babbs, with music by The Grateful Dead. This very rare album was available for a very limited time in San Francisco, and is meant to convey what an acid trip was like for the listener.
The disc here is in very clean condition, with lots of shine. No visible surface scratches that I see and only a few spindle marks. Cover is in good used condition with a 2" split at the top right corner and wear to the top from years of storage probably in a milk crate. Spine is intact but outer edges are yellowed and back cover shows album profile wear and discolorations. Please note that I'm not a record seller and am not going to grade them like the pro's do. In my non-expert opinion, it looks like it was hardly actually played. That being said, it is being sold as-is with no returns.
Overall this is a clean copy of an ultra rare and important psychedelic artifact, from the beginnings of the Grateful Dead's long career. Buy this along with my Lumia plasma light box and have your very own Trips Festival.
