Here is the chance to own a piece of very rare 60s Freakbeat / Mod musical history.

 

Back in 1966 I was invited to a party at a flat in Warwick Avenue, North London. The guy who was throwing the party was the Bass player in a band  called Thane Russal & Three. The band were celebrating the release of their first single and were giving out a few signed copies of the record to the party guests.

I don’t remember too much about the party, but I made it home with the record intact which, after all these years, I have now decided to sell.

 

The Picture sleeve is a bit tatty, slightly discoloured and creased along the top edge, but considering it is virtually 40 years old it isn’t bad. The Signature of Thane Russal is on the front with the three other band member’s signatures on the reverse.

Overall I would rate the record a VG-,  the vinyl is in generally  good condition with just a few hairlines.

 Side one is a cover of Otis Redding’s Security. Flip is Your Love is Burning  Me, credited to Russal.
