This is number 0748 of an edition limited to 5,000 albums.
Corners of box are sharp and sides are rigid. There are no signs of shelf wear. Cover is glossy and black and white image is vibrant and bold. Vinyl is like new. Looks to be unplayed. Booklet looks and feels as new.
This box is long out of print and getting harder to find - especially in this near mint condition!
Review: The Complete Solid State Recordings of the Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Orchestra is a Mosaic Records limited edition compilation of all previously released songs from the five Solid State Records (later Blue Note) instrumental releases of the Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Jazz Orchestra. Several unissued and/or alternate takes from the original album recording sessions are also included as well as two songs previously released only as a single.
Shipping:
We are happy to combine shipping on multiple items, so please check our other listings, as well. Records are shipped in a protective plastic sleeve with the record on the outside of the jacket to prevent jacket-splitting. All records will be shipped in heavy duty cardboard with pads on either side for added protection. More valuable albums will be double-boxed for added protection. Shipping prices below are for single records. Multiple record sets and combined shipping of more than one auction will be based on weight and package size. In that case, please wait for an invoice to be sent before issuing payment.
Shipping for records within the USA is $4.00 for the first LP and $2.00 for each additional LP sent at the same time. These will be sent USPS Media rate with "Delivery Confirmation" which guarantees a tracking number.
Shipping to Canada will be First Class Mail International. Packages totaling OVER $50.00 must be sent International Express. Price will be determined by weight. Please wait for invoice to be sent before payment
