Description
Up for bids is an Original Blue Note Lexington pressing of: Thad Jones - Detroit New York Junction. I will never see a better Lexington pressing of this record ever again! I am amazed at its 60+ year old condition. The Vinyl Plays VG++ to NM. It has one visible 1 inch non audible scuff (see pic) and some random lite record changer scuffs here and there, also non audible, (see pic.) A few sleeve micros, but not many. Background noise is almost non existent and only audible faintly at the beginning of each side. Cover is tight and crisp VG++ with a small area of splitting on the middle bottom, see pic. Even with these small flaws I consider this pressing to be at archive and investment level. So, It has a Reserve, well under what it should sell for. It is the holiday season so I am in need of funds. Otherwise this incredibly rare pressing would stay in my collection. Sold AS IS. . Will be Carefully Packed with Extra padding and a oversized box.
