Slim Willet WINSTON LP 1040 "Texas Oil Patch Songs" The condition of the record is NM-. I wouldn't be surprised if I was the first person to play the record and I only played it once. (I bought it from an older lady in West Texas, who had two copies. Her other copy was in the same condition. I should have bought it but I didn't know how GOOD it was.) The labels are in the same great condition! The cover has a ring from rubbing on both sides but it is very, very minor and detracts very little from the visual experience (or whatever). There is a 3-inch seam split at the top right and a 2-inch seam split at the bottom right. This is 1950's country but the FIRST song is nearly rockabilly. I remember it as BEING rockabilly. It has been awhile since I've played it so I'll say that it is "nearly" rockabilly for safe measure. The starting price is fairly high (I guess) but I'm keeping it, if it doesn't sell it for that price. I collect country music myself. I don't know what it's worth because I've never seen it in 40 years of collecting and I've lived in West Texas. It's not listed anywhere either. I've been selling records for 35 years.
