Description

Terry And The Pirates: "LIVE - In Too Close For Comfort" 1979, Italy/Wild Bunch Records 5001. Disc is in nice EX shape, a few light hairlines do not sound. Cover has some very light overall wear and a small split in the center of the top seam, still strong VG+. Has the gorgeous printed inner sleeve. Amazing collection of studio and live material by this long-lived but largely unheralded Bay Area rural rock band led by Terry Dolan that often boasted some famous players. For example, the opening track "Inlaws & Outlaws" was recorded in 1970 with the entire Country Weather lineup plus John Cipollina and Nicky Hopkins! This is their rarest LP by far, released only in Europe in this exquisite Rick Griffin-styled cover. I regard this an essential Bay Area item.
