IMPORTANT NOTES: This auction is for the rare Pokora 5 Star rated psych folk obscurity ‘Y Dref Wen’ by Tecwyn Ifan in excellent condition. This record hardly ever comes up on eBay, so be sure to grab it while I’m still happy to let it go++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++??
VINYL – VG++/EXCELLENT – I’ve graded the vinyl as VG++/Excellent since there doesn’t appear to be any frightening marks or digs that should effect playback. There are however some very light paper marks (probably from where the record has been pulled in out of the bag over time) and there are some very light marks on both sides. It still has a very nice shine to it and certainly deserving of this grading.
SLEEVE – EXCELLENT – Given that Sain records are notorious for their poor choice of sleeve glue, the seams on this record have started coming away. The top seam has split completely and the bottom is beginning to go. Not that it affects the rest of the sleeve in anyway. It is not torn or remotely messy. It’s just the glue has lost it’s “stickabilty” shall we say and more adventurous record collectors should be able to re-stick this sleeve back together fairly easily with patience, glue and a bit of TLC. Important to stress though that the reason I have given this LP sleeve an excellent grading is that both the back and front of the sleeve are simply that. Clean, shiny with some marks and signs of age (note the inch long scrawl of Welsh on the back cover) but on the whole, a very strong example of the record.
LABELS – NEAR MINT – Both labels are near mint and crispy clean.
Very rare opportunity to own this extremely rare LP and one that you don’t get to see to often on eBay, or anywhere for that matter.
