Description
I rented a bedsit from an Italian woman who ran a record shop in Glasgow in 1976.
One day she told me the shop had closed and was I interested in buying any of her old stock.
I found this and paid 50 pence for it. I played the first 2 songs and didn't like it then I played the live tracks on side 2 and that's it!!
So 50% of this album is unplayed!!
The cover aint too good as it has that familiar `ring` of the record as it was pressed against other albums but the vinyl is immaculate. There is also wear on the edges etc as you can see in the photos.
Record collector listed it as being worth £150 in 1976. See the photo of the cutting from record collector.
I no longer own a deck so cannot play it. I am telling you everything I know from memory. It was never removed from it`s sleeve again for 39 years until I took it out to photograph it last week. I was 16 years old when I bought it lol
A record company was looking for a good copy of it a few years back as there were no original master tapes, but I couldn't find it and assumed it was lost/stolen. I had purchased a copy of `MEDDLE` by Pink Floyd in 1990 and I had put this album into the cardboard mailer along with meddle (also for sale in another auction of mine)....this is when I found it. Meddle was a limited edition mobile fidelity soundlabs half speed master that`s why it had been carefully stored and I had obviously thought this was worthy enough to be carefully stored as well.
It`s the original Alex Harvey Band members, before Alex (RIP) joined.
I will send by ROYAL MAIL insured (UP TO £250) unless you have a preference but you will have to discuss postage with me before paying.
UPDATE: I have decided to add the following as someone has pointed out that someone could buy this, make a cd of it, then claim there is a scratch, jump, clicks, pops, etc and return it as `item not as described` therefore I am now stating that my description is 100% honest but if you buy this you are buying it on the understanding that it could have any of the aforementioned faults and that you are willing to take that chance. Do not bid unless you are serious about owning the record, the description is accurate, if you want to own it you will not be disappointed.
I AM ONLY ADDING THIS TO STOP AN ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED CLAIM THERE IS NO HIDDEN AGENDA HERE!!!
If the item appears damaged upon delivery do not sign for it or accept it. If you do then it`s yours to keep there are no returns and no exceptions to this.
Sorry about this folks but I`m not sending it half way round the world only to be scammed, it`s a rare and valuable item.

The item will be sent sandwiched between thick cardboard in an LP proper mailing envelope and marked as `FRAGILE`, `DO NOT BEND`, ETC
If you want to specify your own packing and postal service please contact me before paying I only charge cost price, any packing is free.
If any record company out there wants to send a limo to collect it that's ok too!

It`s my first time selling records so I am open to suggestions and advice and if there are any questions just ask me.....if you want label info etc just ask but I think they were all bought very soon after release so `should` be original pressings but like I say ask for info if needed.
