TASMANIANS-45-“Baby” b/w “Love, Love, Love”-Conda Records #101-MONSTER 1966 West Palm Beach, Florida Garage-Punker.. A side is Ultra-TOP-5, 5-star KILLERKOOL...you all probably know that already—Real DYNAMITE-all the elements are here-Fuzz guitar riff throughout, rhythm guitar, Vox Continental Organ in the mix, Stones-ish Harmonica punctuating as well as in the break with a driving rhythm guitar...great ‘revved up’ ending as the bass player goes into a sort of ‘Paint It Black’ riff at maximum speed as the harp wails on... Great gutteral Jaggeresque lead singer as well. B side is on the tamer side, but still has the same great Stones-ish sound with ever-present harmonica throughout and the Vox Continental a little louder in the mix...great record...A PLUS STUFF!!!! One of the 'Holy Grail' records!!! Condition: Record is hard to grade; Plays GREAT...has some light wear, some light surface scratches, surface scuffs, a couple of light surface scratches visible in certain light angles, B side same, but has like 4 or 5 light surface scratches visible in certain light angles, as well as you can see where a piece of scotch tape was on the grooves at one time-you can see in certain light angles, also a piece of tape was on the label and tail out at one point and the label has a tear where the tape was removed (see photo below and Label description)...almost no background noise, here & there, but overall covered by content...plays great really.
