RECORD CONDITION: SIDE ONE IS VG+. SIDE TWO IS VG++. SIDE ONE HAS FOR ABOUT 20 TURNS AT THE END A REPETITIVE LOW POP. OTHER THAN THAT, THE OVERALL SOUND IS EXCELLENT FOR ENTIRE LP. OTHER MINOR SCRATCHES DO NOT AFFECT PLAYBACK. COVER IS NM. EXCELLENT CONDITION. ALL CORNERS AND SEAMS PERFECT. BEAUTIFUL LAMINATED COVER PHOTO.
ITEM INFORMATION: A MEGA RARITY. The great Gerhardt Taschner playing Beethoven's Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D, Opus 61. Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Paul Roether. Released on the US specialty label Regents Records.
This is a rare LP, worthy of any quality violin collection.

I am a 30-year collector of great classical, jazz, soundtracks and rock records. I started in late 2008 with a sale of a limited number of the best items in my collections. This is my ninth sale in 2010. These records will be of the highest quality and desirability. Expect to bid on rare LP’s of Furtwangler, Bernard Herrmann, string and piano artists and jazz artists. Many fine TAS-listed or TAS-type audiophile records will be included as well. At this time I can not take wish-list items, but please add me to your favorites list for upcoming offerings.
GRADING: Sealed LP’s are noted in their description. I grade by both visual inspection and play. Mint is not used. Near Mint is my highest grade. VG++ and Near Mint should play problem free; VG+ should play problem free or with noted shortcomings noted in write-up. My description will be accurate. All items guaranteed, but I do not refund shipping costs.
I request that payment be made through PayPal only. Contact me via eBay mail if not possible. My items have no reserve. I ship worldwide and will combine winning bids to save on postage. I recommend all items that sell at $100.00 plus be shipped insured. Because of the value of some items, I may at my discretion require insurance. After bid closing, insurance amount will be calculated and then added to shipping fees reflecting in your invoice.

U S Shippers are allowed to send parcels by 1st Class International Mail that weight 4 pounds or less. Parcels that weight more than 4 pounds must be sent by Priority Mail International, which is more expensive.
FREQUENTCY OF SHIPPING: I do try and ship as quickly as I can, but sometimes it can take a week or so to send items out, depending on how many orders I have. Note that media mail can take three weeks from when I receive payment.
