- Near mint and hard to find Japanese pressing UHQR (Ultra High Quality Recording) Reference Recording LP “The Forward Look” (RR-8, 45 RPM ) featuring The Red Norvo Quintet. This LP is on The Absolute Sound (TAS) list of top audiophile recordings.
- The quintet consists of Red Norvo (vibes), Jimmy Wyble (guitar), Jerry Dodgion (reeds), Red Wooten (bass) and John Markham (drums).
- The tracklist is: Rhee Wahnee/The Forward Look/Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea/Room 608/For Lena And Lennie/Cookin’ At The Continental.
- The LP looks and plays near mint (I don’t rate opened LPs as mint) with crisp, clear audiophile quality sound. The gatefold cover is also near mint with no splits, tears, writing or cutouts.
