COVER: A beautiful laminated cover with a few light creases in the corner (Grade at EXCELLENT-)
VINYL: Lovely shiny black vinyl with a few light scuffs.

COMMENTS: ”Tamam Shud”, a Persian word meaning “the very end”, was one of the first local Sydney bands to embrace the late 60’s psychedelic sounds of Cream, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Pink Floyd, Eric Burdon/ (New) Animals, Grateful Dead and more. Tamam Shud grew out of the acid-rock movement but were able to translate the music into a uniquely Oz context. Shud are seen as being linked with the surfing fraternity where they had audiences transfixed by their enveloping acid-surf progressive rock.
“Evolution” was the debut album recorded in two and a half hours. It was one of the first wholly original rock albums produced in Oz. Paul Witzig, film-maker, financed the album session in return for being able to use four tracks on the soundtrack of his surfing film of the same name.
