Description
T. Rex – “Ride A White Swan” (Ariola, 85 070 IT). Quite rare German-pressed vinyl LP with gatefold sleeve. The track listing is almost the same as the 1970 eponymous “T. Rex” LP, but with “The Time of Love is Now” omitted and “Ride A White Swan added. Rather confusingly, the lyric of “The Time of Love is Now” still has its lyric printed on the inside of the gatefold sleeve (and “Ride A White Swan” doesn’t)! The item has obvious visual wear. There is a piece of damage on the spine of the sleeve, and quite a lot of small creases and scratches (although the light coming into my scanner makes the condition look worse than it is). However, the inside of the gatefold sleeve still looks great. The vinyl has obvious visual grazing but, in spite of this, Side 1 plays with only light background surface noise. Side 2 does have some background “clicks” and “pops”, but both sides still play to a listenable standard.
