Description
It is my delight to offer here for auction a lovely copy of SAX 2512/3 . Szell conducting Beethoven's "Choral Symphony" and also Wagner's "Die Meistersinger Prelude".This copy has first issue Blue/Silver label's on all four sides. Matrices: side 1 . YAX 1027-3 stamper 1R side 2. 1028-1 stamper 1R side 3. YAX 1029-2 stamper 2R side 4. YAX 1030-6 stamper 1C
Vinyl is in superb NM condition.I have played various sections of all four sides and can honestly say that the sound quality is superb.This is about as good as it get's.No crackle,tics,warps.Just great,clear sound.All sides look super clean and barely played.Side three does have one light nail scuff.But it's a minor one and very light and small.This area of the disc has been very carefully checked, and has no effect on sound quality whatsoever.All four sides play NM.
Cover's are both in EX+ condition.Apart from a small seam split on the centre top edge of each cover they are in fine condition.You can see them in the photos.The spines too are fine.Really nice,clean cover's.
Has it's original inner sleeves in EX condition.
Label's. EX+ No noticeable spindle marks at all.And all label's are free of any unwanted marks.All four are as they should be,without blemishes.
