EX (excellent) Record in great shape, may have light marks, played more than a few times but low in surface noise or no surface noise.
VG+ (very good plus) Record has been played more times, it has more marks and surface noise, it doesn't skip.
VG (very good) Record has been played many times, may be more surface noise, but it shouldn't skip while playing.
 G (good) Record is in bad condition, this is worth only for archive items  just to have that until you find better.\

M (mint) Still Shrink Wrapped.
NM ( near mint) Appears new with some barely noticeable wear.
EX (excellent) Shows slight wear on edges and corners. An album cover that has been taken care of.
VG+ (very good plus) Some moderate wear, no major problems. Still a nice cover
VG (very good) Obvious signs of wear. Areas starting to rub off. One or more edges starting to split. Slight fraying on the corners.
GD (good) Heavy wear. Will have more then one of the follwoing faults: writing on the cover, split edges, dinged corners, stains, creases or scratches, fading.
