Description
Supertramp Crime of the Century **SPEAKERS CORNER PRESSING** **SLIGHT DAMAGE**.
Excellent re-press (1999) of the Crime of the Century by Speakers Corner 180g. Pressed by Schallplattenfabrik Pallas GmbH in Germany
Owned by me from new.
PLEASE NOTE **** There is slight damage towards the end of the last track on Side 1 (Asylum) where I wasn’t careful on lifting the cartridge on the last track of side 1. A few clicks and pops on Side 2.
SEE LAST PICTURE (Number 12)
**** The LP plays fully throughout, but there is a slight, but noticeable click towards the fade-out at the end of the last track (Asylum) on side 1. And a few clicks and pops on side 2.
I have tried to photograph this as closely as possible - it is just next to the ‘run-out’ stamp on Side 1. *****
Please don’t buy it, if you do not understand/agree with the description above.
No shrink wrap on the cover, so the barcode sticker is missing, but the back cover has the Barcode 0 7502-13647-1. Spine reads:- A&M SP-3647 Side 1 Matrix/Runout reads:- AMLS 68 258 S1=2 320 Side 2 Matrix/Runout reads:- AMLS 68 258 S2 320
The rest of the record is in NM/Excellent condition, as is the cover and inlays.
Excellent re-press - School (track 1) and Bloody Well Right (track 2) are the best dynamics and clarity I’ve heard from any version of this album.
Speakers Corner have run out of these after a limited run, so I think they’re getting harder to track down now.
