You're purchasing a truly limited edition collector's item (only one of 5000), Supertramps's "Crime of the Century," in the finest format available: an Original Master Recording vinyl record by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, with their top treatment: UHQR (Ultra High Quality Record) 177-gram virgin vinyl.
This album is one-owner, cared for in a temperature-controlled, smoke-free environment.
While this isn't the lowest-numbered pressing, Mobile Fidelity assured listeners that pressings would be stopped at 5000 because they could guarantee equal sound quality up to that number. They will never make another. You won't find a copy of this record in better shape anywhere!
This MFSL Original Master Recording is half-speed mastered and pressed on High Definition Super Vinyl by Victor Company of Japan. A copy of this vinyl in pristine condition is an extraordinarily rare and coveted collector's item of this classic album, with a rich audiophile analog sound unmatched by digital versions, and lower distortion, greater stereo separation, and broader frequency response than other vinyl records.
The album is in superb, mint condition. It looks unplayed, with no marks or label wear. The album cover has typical shelf wear for an album of its age (see huge images); it's otherwise in very good structural condition. All inner materials are in mint condition, with no fading or wear. That even includes the two pieces of foam on each side of the album; normally foam degrades over time but these look new!
