**RARE 1st PRESSING WITH BLACK AND GOLD LABELS**

Parlophone PMC 1202. (Matrix: XEX 421-1N / XEX 422-1N) Black and Gold Parlophone labels.

With "The Parlophone Co. Ltd" but without "Sold in the UK" label text. Side One label has 'Dick James Mus. Co.' credit for Ask Me Why and Please Please Me - see scans.

Ernest J. Day & Co laminated flipback sleeve with large "mono". Record also comes with the original poly-lined 'Emitex' inner sleeve.

Record: The vinyl is between VG- and VG condition. The record has some marks, but still retains a nice sheen and plays well, with no distortion and absolutely NO jumps. Sound-quality is nice and loud. You will not be disappointed with the playback. Perfect labels with no damage or writing. Cover: The cover is EX-. No damage, seam splits or rubbing to spine. No writing anywhere on cover. Front of cover is very nice with NO ringwear, back is clean.
