Description

This is the original pressing of Sun Ra “Jazz by Sun Ra” on Transition TRLP 10.  The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The laminated cover is also in extraordinary condition, with three sharp corners and unworn seams; superficial 4 ¾” crease at the upper left corner.  24-page booklet (with poems and commentary by Sun Ra) and original glassine inner sleeve are included.   Personnel include Art Hoyle, John Gilmore, Pat Patrick, Julian Priester, and Richard Evans.  $500.00.
