Description
This is the original stereo pressing of Sun Ra “The Night of the Purple Moon” on the pale pink labels of Saturn 522. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. The cover is clean throughout; there is a 1” tear – probably from the removal of a price sticker – at the upper right corner of the front. Personnel include John Gilmore, Danny Davis, and Stafford James. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. Please do not bid unless you are comfortable providing credit card information directly. The “Blue Note Records” book – “A Guide for Identifying Original Pressings” is now available on eBay.
