Description
Original pressing of Sun Ra Stars That Shine Darkly on Saturn 11/83. The playing surface is in near-new condition - with just a single inaudible scuff - and a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. The labels are typical Saturn day-glo orange and red paste-ons. The cover, in beautiful condition throughout, is also typically Saturn - a splatter-pattern utility jacket. The personnel are unique, having been assembled from performers at the l983 Montreux Festival: Don Cherry, Lester Bowie, Archie Shepp, Philly Joe Jones, and Famoudou Don Moye.
