 LP Saturn , 5626 Morton St, Philly. Cat 140000. Original USA Pressing. 1970

Condition:  LP  VG-  Cover VG

Lp plays cleanly, but has a few minor scuff hairline scratches record has a brilliant sheen. Generally a VG+ condition Lp.

 I grade conservatively as a collector I like to achieve total satisfaction. I am selling a little of my jazz collection to fund more record buying. I will refund full payment if you disagree that the record is not as described. Return postage is paid by the customer.

Notes:

Original Saturn pressing, 1960's recordings, my Earthly Recordings of Sun Ra book suggests this was issued in 1970. Island in the Sun, modal beautiful Ra tune, sublime and multi-dimensional.

I bought this from The Jazz Center in NY nearly twenty years ago, see my other listings for a few more original Saturns. Comes with a signed Postcard, can't work out which Arkestra member it could be? and an Original Flyer from a later date when Marshall Allen took over direction.
