Description

This record comes from the original 1978 Lanquidity sessions conducted on the day and night of Sun Ra’s appearance on Saturday Night Live.  After SNL, the band went back to their home/studio. Sun Ra reportedly stayed up all night getting the mix where he wanted, then took the tapes or sent the tapes to the short-run vinyl press he used to run off for their upcoming gig in Atlanta. There were probably 500 to 1000 pressed and sold at shows. Usually until they were gone, but Ra had a few shops that would pay him up front for their self-produced product.
There are virtually no other versions of this album on sale with the YELLOW paste-on cover IN SHRINK.  The record was very well cared for over the years and has no issues whatsoever.
