This is the rare limited edition (#39/40) boxed set of Sun Ra “Black Utopia” on DryLongSo 070112. The box, its contents, and the two records – on red vinyl and black vinyl – are MINT; there is also a DVD audio disk from Cauleen Smith’s “Black Utopia” documentary (small scratch at disks’ edge does not affect sound.) Included are a foldout “You Are from Outer Space” program from Cauleen Smith’s multi-media exhibit, a 23” x 35” diagram of The El Saturn Research Library, and a 32-page 11 ¼” x 11 ¼” illustrated booklet of interviews, photos, and articles referring to Sun Ra and the Audio Archive. The box is signed by Cauleen Smith. The two LPs contain music by the Arkestra, solo piano and commentary by Sun Ra, and much more. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL.
