Description

  • Near mint Sun Ra gatefold white label promo LP “Atlantis” (Impulse AS 9239, stereo).
  • Included is the original promotional brochure (with glossy photo) that came with the record. This LP and brochure was obtained from the estate of a major newspaper music reviewer.
  • All of side two (Atlantis) is one of Sun Ra’s most innovative free form jazz pieces. The track "Yucatan" is a completely different composition than that found on the original Saturn release.
  • The tracklist is: Mu/Lemuria/Yucatan/Bimini/Atlantis.
  • The LP looks and plays very close to mint. I’m unable to see even one spindle mark on the labels. There is some slight dishing but it does not affect play at all and I hesitated to even mention it. The gatefold cover (with promo sticker) is near mint with no splits, tears, writing or cutouts. The promotional brochure and photo are near mint.
  • NO reserve. I ship worldwide and will combine winning bids to save on postage (check out my other items!).
