Sun Ra ~~ Original Private Press LP on El Saturn with Handmade Art cover and Handwritten labels.

This session titled 'Somewhere over the Rainbow (We Live to Be)' was recorded live on July 18th, 1977 at The Bluebird, Bloomington, Indiana.  White labels are handwritten, labeled 'Sun Ra  El Saturn' on both sides, and the track 'Amen' is listed on one side.  This handmade cover is unique and the art is exceptional (one of the nicest El-Saturn covers I've seen).  This is a rare one with any cover, so bid accordingly.

This record visually grades VG+. Plays with some background noise in places as do many El-Saturn pressings (listen to MP3s: I have recorded the entire album).  Cover has some soiling to front cover and light soiling to back cover, but is otherwise in very good shape and is quite beautiful.  

I try to grade conservatively, but check out the sound clips taken directly from the record and judge for yourself!  MP3s are unedited--what you hear is what you get.  Don't sleep!
 
Your item will be packaged securely and safely for it's postal journey. It will shipped in a brand new record mailer, removed from its original jacket and placed in a 12" cardboard sleeve during shipment to prevent seam damage.  Additionally, each record will be sandwiched between two cardboard inserts to further ensure that the record arrives safely.
