Nice copy of this 1974 reissue on Impulse label. Vinyl is super clean with no scratches. Cover has some wear but still VG (at least) with a hole punch (top left corner). Original inner sleeve VG+ with no splits. Side one was recorded in 1960 while side two was recorded in 1956 (original LP released in 1965 - some say 1967). The record reflects Sun Ray’s evolution from hard Chicago bop towards a more avant-garde style. The recording contains some very nice flute work by Marshall Allen. Some good interplanetary funksmanship here.
