Description

Hello! This auction is for a MISPRINTED version of Sublime's First Album 40 oz to Freedom on the Limited Edition Cranberry Red vinyl. This is a double LP, The LP has VERY minor signs of wear, mostly from storage, but some from slight use. Both records play flawlessly and are in excellent condition, as well the cover, inside panels and Vinyl Sleeves are also in Very Good Condition, if not better. This LP is a few years old and I have taken very good care of it. The photo included is an ACTUAL photo of the item and displayed is as follows, The cover is open, The Sleeve for Record 1 is sitting in front with the Record Slightly pulled out, and Record 2 is sticking out of the casing. It was the best I could do to show everything in one picture, but I am more than happy to take more!! So if you would like to see more pictures please message me and I will take a whole bunch of detailed photos and send them to you the minute I receive the message!

Here is the Detailed Information on how this Album is misprinted, this information came from discogs.com and can be verified if needed!  The sleeve has the catalogue number ER-2002-16, which discogs.com verifies to be the cranberry red vinyl repressing of the album, and although the site has not labeled the album a misprint, the details are listed for you below:

When the album is played from beginning to end, it is played in the following order:
Side A
waiting for my ruca
40oz. to freedom
smoke two joints
we're only gonna die
don't push
5446/ball and chain

Side B
badfish
let's go get stoned
new thrash
scarlet begonias
live at e's
d.j.s

Side C
chica me tipo
right back
what happened
new song
ebin

Side D
date rape
hope
KRS-one
river of babylon
thanks

For sides A & B on the first disc the actual tracklistings DO match what is printed directly on each side of the record and on the paper sleeve the vinyl is in. BUT On sides C & D is where we see the error. On the sticker on the actual record and the paper sleeve the tracklist includes Date Rape at the end of Side C after Ebin, so there are six songs listed but you can clearly see only five on that side and on Side D the track Date Rape is actually the first track despite the paper sleeve and sticker on the record reading the tracklist on Side D as: Hope, KRS-one, and River of Babylon.

THAT is not the only error! The sleeve that houses both records also has a different tracklisting on the back that doesn't match up with the actual tracklisting on the records. Below is the tracklisting on the vinyl sleeve, but is NOT what is printed on the Vinyls themselves:
Side A
waiting for my ruca
get out
40oz to freedom
smoke two joints
we're all gonna die for our arrogance
don't push

Side B
5446/ball and chain
badfish
lets go get stoned
new thrash
scarlet begonias
live at e's

Side C
d.j.s
chica me tipo
right back
what happened
new song
ebin

Side D
date rape
hope
KRS-one
thanks

Last but not least, the song 'Get Out' which was an early single included on some pressing of this record is not on this one. Also there is the difference in the name 'We're All Gonna Die for Our Arrogance' is listed on the back cover, while the paper sleeve and record list the track as simply We're Only Gonna Die. I am the original owner of this LP and it is the only Sublime LP that I have ever owned and I bought it brand new and sealed some odd years ago, just to verify that this IS in fact a MISPRINT and not a mismatch! If you have any questions please feel free to message me! Thanks and Happy Bidding!
