Released by Studio One in 1967, cat # SO-2034; this is “Hot Rod†by The Soul Brothers c/w “ Africa†by The Gaylads.
This week is a selection of the labels we have left to sell from our reggae collection. If you’ve not seen our auctions before, where have you been! Some immense singles this week in fantastic condition that defy their age. Remember, most are mint, some were unplayed until we got hold of them and all are one owner from new and have NEVER been offered for sale anywhere else – ever. You’ve dreamt about singles in this condition – now see them for real!
This record is simply MINT! No marks on either labels or on the vinyl. Were I a betting man, I’d say this record was unplayed until I checked it for this listing. Again, the spindle hole needed a bit of gently widening before playing, which is always a good indication of an unplayed record. The A-side played without fault – so that is MINT. The B-side also played perfectly too – so that is MINT as well! What a great instrumental double-header too – the new owner is in for a real treat!
Postage and packing for one record will be £1.10 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are £1.30 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance is extra and will be required if the value of the record or overall consignment exceeds £28.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
