Description

This is the BMG Music Service, aka BMG record club, pressing of Stryper's first album, "Soldiers Under Command." Enigma R-154114. It is still sealed and the shrink wrap is definitely factory shrink. I know this from working in record stores; factory shrink often has a band that runs across the back cover from assembly line shrink wrapping machines. When records are re-wrapped on smaller machines, there is no band.

There are other sealed copies of this on eBay but the price isn't very Christian, if you know what I mean. I didn't pay much for this and would like to see it go to a good home.
Condition-wise, there are faint signs of ring wear but it's hard to say for certain if that's just the shrink or the actual jacket but it looks more like the shrink. The edge of the LP has definitely made a circular impression in the cardboard jacket. A couple of corners have tiny dings (see pics) and the shrink has three small tears.
We have to assume that the vinyl is at least EX.
I'm a longtime collector slowly selling chunks of his stash. I clean and examine everything carefully so it takes a while to post but records will be showing up steadily, including some collectibles, so stay tuned.
