Street Sounds 'Essential Electro The Business' UK original 9 LP box set from 1984. Number: HBOX1. This box set is sealed and unplayed but the shrink wrap is spilt at the bottom right corner and the cardboard box, itself, is not perfect. The front of the box is slightly 'dished' - concave inward - due to age and tension from the shrink wrap. There are a few parallel, horizontal wrinkles and creases under the printing on the front of the box. There is also a seam split at the top of the back of the box. There are no dents or scratches on the box, however. The corners are sharp and crisp. These boxes were made from quite thin cardboard so they were very vulnerable to damage. Please see photos for condition.
According to the printing on the box, they made only 5000 of these sets. I don't know if that's accurate but they do seem quite scarce on the second hand market.
I've had this set for many years but I kept it stored in a box - in a cool, dark, dry place - while I played an opened copy.
Please note that the vinyl discs inside the box come in plain paper sleeves. They don't reproduce the covers of the individual LP releases. I wouldn't like anyone to be disappointed after they break the seal and then try to return the opened set for this reason!

There are 9 LPs inside the box so it will be quite heavy after packaging.
