This compilation, released on Dutch East India in 1990, features one song per Mancunian artist from one of their Peel Sessions. It includes everyone from The Fall ("Eat Y'Self Fitter" -- much better than the original) to The Smiths ("Handsome Devil") to The Chameleons ("Second Skin") to the Happy Mondays ("Mad Cyril") and continues on through lesser lights such as Twang, Tools You Can Trust, Ruthless Rap Assassins, bIG fLAME and Mick Hucknall's pre-Simply Red post-punk group The Frantic Elevators. It's a weird blend of music but an intriguing look at Manchester acts from the Eighties.
This is probably the best Peel Sessions compilation album ever! Although most of the bands herein are from Manchester, some obscure but all are well-worth listening to. Git yerselves a copy now before it goes into extinction. Cheers and enjoy!
"Swing The Heartache The BBC Sessions" is one for any serious vinyl collectors.
This particular item is well looked after. That said there will be the usual marks on the record sleeve. Also there will be some hairline marks with the record. Please understand this is not a new reissue but the original pressing so it is many years old.
If you can't accept those condition please don't buy and hoping to have partial refunds because it is described here.

It's time to dislodge my massive collection of records I collect all these years. I have to call it a day after losing my hearing. There are more than 2000 records comprising Classical, Rock and Rock, Folk, Jazz and Pop music. They are mostly the first pressings or second pressing from the era, not the recent reissues which suffer from wrapping and bad sound quality.
