Description
The stooges first album, 1969 elektra EKS 74051, near mint almost unplayed, only the slightest signs of a few light fingerprints and a couple of very minor hairline marks otherwise nearly perfect, cleanest copy I’ve ever seen, most of the shrinkwrap is still on the front and back of record with a portion of the shrink wrap torn at the top on the front. This is the original first edition with the red label and the large white E, matrix markings show it to be from the Terra Haute pressing plant. The cover would be in mint condition if not for the drill hole, seen in photos, as I’m sure you know drilling holes in the corners of covers was a standard practice in the record industry. It makes little difference, the cover is gorgeous
comes with the original glossy black Elektra inner sleeve that includes the elektra logo on one side and color photos of their various offices and studios on the other side, (side note, one of the studios pictured on the inner sleeve is the studio that appears as the background in the stooges funhouse gatefold photo) Labels are in mint condition, you don’t see the originals look like this too often don’t miss this one
