Recorded as if in a dancehall with links by the sound MC and the tracks all exclusive dub plates for the Stone Love Sound System. There was a trend at the time to release Reggae LP's with a " Live " feel to them as if they were recorded as in a dance hall, but were actually done in a studio. Stone Love first came over to the UK in 1989 amidst much huge hype, here was one of JA's top sounds coming with a pile of exclusive dub plates to clash with the UK's top sounds. This was huge and this LP was released on the back of the tour, at the start of the record there is a dedication to all those who came to see them on their UK visit. So we have tracks by Thriller U, Johnny Osbourne, and more...Plus two mega mixes. The tracks being run are on dub plate so you can hear crackles etc but these are on the dub plates in the studio and NOT on this record which plays perfectly. All tracks linked as if in the dance. This really was a big deal at the time, and to this day Stone Love are one of the top sounds in JA. The record plays perfectly........The cover still has the original shrink wrap on, the sleeve has one small bend at the spine but no tears or creases. This rarely comes up for sale. Both sides are a continuous mix with no track gaps.
