Description
This is one of the very rarest of Stokowski LPs and is in as good condition as you are likely to find in this lifetime. This is as rare as a hen's tooth.
This LP is CRS1 issued by the University of Illinois School of Music where Stoki showed up to conduct the Monteverdi Vespers in the 1950s.

I have play-graded this LP as A- (Canfield level grading). It plays well and has clean surfaces considering this is what I would call "Remington-grade vinyl" (i.e. not very quiet). There is one light scratch at the beginning of Side 2 for about ten turns. So, it's not perfect but you will probably be pulling out your retirement funds or even pushing up the daisies before you set eyes on another of these LPs which were produced by the University and not distributed for sale at stores.
