Description
These Albums have been in storage for the last two and a half decades unplayed and in some cases unopened. Now it is time for them to go. The records are near mint (when opened although the condition of the sleeve can vary. hopefully the photos will help there.
Steven and Sterling are a funk/soul act consisting of the two brothers Steven and Sterling Rice. They had a short career in the funk/soul trio Livin Proof before they were discovered by Tito Jackson (brother of Michael and member of Jackson 5) who helped them to sign a deal with RCA Records. Tito Jackson wrote and co-wrote most of the songs and was also responsible for the production of their successful debut album titled One Magic Night, originally released in 1982. A number of very successful musicians participated in the recordings, like Michael McKinney, one of the bass players for Michael Jackson, Kevin Kipper Jones, songwriter for Vanessa Williams and member of the venerable R&B/funk outfit, Tease. As backing vocalists Tito and Jermaine Jackson participated as well as Cheryl Lynn (from the hit record Got to be Real) and Jim Gilstrap. RCA/Victor released three singles from their album: I’m in Love with You, Who Is Jody and their most successful single to date Can I Be with You Tonight. Unfortunately after their debut album we did not hear any more from this talented duo. The album has, however long been on the want list of many 80 s soul and funk fans.

10: Mint… Perfect record, clean gloss, no marks, beautiful in every way. Very few records will make mint.
9: Mint-… Very clean, only a few light marks. A great record.
8: Condition between 7 and 9.
7: VG+… Used, but not abused. Light scratches only. Should play, and look very nice with minimal surface noise.
6: VG… Still a nice record. Looks a bit used, light scratches, no gouges, still plays well, some surface noise.
5: VG-… A bit rough but will play ok. Fills the collection.
4: G… Plays very rough. Has multiple scratches. What a bargain!
3-2-1: It only goes down from here.
