Up for sale is one (1) Steely Dan ?- Countdown To Ecstasy LP First pressing from 1973. NO BARCODE.
The cover and spine show ABC Records (#ABCX-779).
The labels have ABC / Dunhill Records (#SW 95150). Catalog number #SW 95150 on the label indicates a Capitol Record Club release.
This version does NOT include the lyric insert. The Club release did not include the lyric insert.
Features Jeff "Skunk" Baxter of The Doobie Brothers fame.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition but has some minor visual surface marks, that will cause some surface noise and you will hear some pops and clicks along the way.
Nice clean black ABC/Dunhill Records labels.
The sturdy cardboard cover is in very good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to minor corner dings, scrapes, some stains, fade spots, and ring wear, etc...This cover typically does not age well, but this one is in great shape.
There are no split seams or cut-outs. There is, however, some "bubbling" on the front cover.
I obtained this LP in the 1970's. It was gently played many times back in the day. I haven't played this LP in over 30 years. It has been in storage ever since.
