for more details. VAN GELDER is machine stamped
in the dead-wax, as well as the Plastylite (pressing plant)
"Ear" (or "P") logo, see the photos.
We play graded both sides, and
all the tunes play VG+ or better, with crisp highs
and tremendous bass. There is light surface noise
audible on the intros, outros, and between tracks,
and since the first 2 songs on Side 2 are quieter in
nature, the surface noise is a bit more noticeable,
but on most of the album, no noise is evident when
the music is playing. The track with the needle-drop
scratch has fingernail marks, the previous owner's
attempt "help" a loud pop. Nonetheless, there are
a several loud clicks when the stylus plays the
second quarter of SARA's DANCE.
