Description
Up for auction is a rare original mono pressing of the Stanley Turrentine 'A Chip Off The Old Block' LP on Blue Note Records BLP-4150. Other musicians include Blue Mitchell, Shirley Scott, Earl May, and Al Harewood.
Record info:
Strong VG+, close to NM with minor surface noise. It plays great!
Cover info:
Solid VG+ with with solid seams with some minor wear. The top two corners have noticeable creasing. The front cover has some black staining along the bottom area that looks like might have happened in the printing process. The back cover has a 'Review Copy' promo stamp on it.
Label / Pressing info:
Original NY USA label press with Van Gelder stamp on both sides in the dead wax area.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
