Description
Auction is for a RARE ORIGINAL U.K. PRESSING of CHRIS BARRON'S "STRINGS AND THINGS" LP from 197? on Standard Music Library (Cat. #ESL 154). It's all about the a-side here as side 2 is just loads of short links/cues/etc. Loads of slick funk and synths in the mix with the solid disco of "Rainbow Disco" but things really get great for the last three tracks filed under "Space Travel". As one could hope, it's loads of synth heavy, spaced-out cosmic goodness with the highlight being the killer dancefloor cosmic italo-tinged disco of "Space Flight". Definitely an oddity for the Standard label and probably the only thing of its type that they released. The last copy of this I saw up for auction about six months back went for almost $100, get a nicer copy here for cheaper. Cover has slightest ringwear. Vinyl has a very light superficial sleeve scuff on Side B otherwise perfect. Beautiful archive copy.
Condition of the Cover/Vinyl is EX / NM.
